2015 Ford Mustang Recalled Over Malfunctioning Safety Feature

It was only last month when Ford unleashed the next-gen Mustang but the excitement was short-lived after 53 units got called back over a suspected fault with the vehicle’s safety features.

In detail, Ford revealed that the 53 Mustangs are suspected to have issues with the belt-buckle tension sensor that may not have been calibrated during the assembly process. This is really worrying as the faulty sensor could lead to improper airbag deployment for the passenger.

The problem can cause injuries or even death to the commuters if the Mustang got caught in a crash. Of course, there has yet to be such occurrences, which is why it is important for Mustang owners to send their vehicle for check-up.

Ford concluded by revealing that the 50 of the Mustang are in US soil while the other 3 are in Canada. All of the owners are already notified of the recall via their particulars and they won’t be charged for any parts replacement.
