2015 Ford Mustang Drives Sky High With Air-Force Presentation [PICS]

Ford has always been a fan of the US Air Force which explains why there is a Ford Mustang that has been deeply customized to look like one of the fighter jets. This isn’t the first time Ford has pimp-ed its Mustang to make pay tribute to the jets.

It was first seen with the SR-71 Mustang, which is based on the legendary spy plane, a Red Tails edition, which honoured the ground-breaking Tuskegee Airmen of World War II, as well as Blue Angels and Thunderbird Mustangs, based on America’s two great military aerial demonstration teams.

The latest is the 2015 Mustang, which is based on the controversial F-35 Lightning II. The sports car comes with titanium paint scheme, with both glossy and matte sections, as well as yellow-and-blue trim and decal elements inspired by CF-1, the first F-35 test plane.

It also features a carbon-fibre front splitter and rear diffuser which blend well with the Recaro seats. The icing on the cake is the unique wheels and a brawnier rear spoiler.

Well, all of these can be purchased during the charity fund-raising event happening in July 31. If you have so much extra money and wouldn’t mind spending it for a good cause, then the special edition air-force Mustang is for you. After all, previous Mustangs saw the price flying pass the $400,000 mark.
