2015 Fisker Karma: New Owner, Same Car

A couple of years ago, Fisker discontinued the Karma as it files for bankruptcy. The all-American carmaker was then acquired by Chinese company, Wanxiang and it looks to revive the Karma from the dead.

The car is being tipped for a release in 2015 and it is revealed that the Karma will look identical to its predecessors. This was confirmed by an industry insider, who revealed that Wanxiang wishes to re-launch the Karma quickly. Doing so will save plenty of time and money from going through the safety test that is compulsory if major changes were made on the car.

On the other hand, another insider revealed that the Karma will be different in many key areas. Furthermore, the car will be getting some major upgrades to improve its profile.

Then again, the Karma has a very rocky reputation. Ever since it got discontinued, many parts supplier was left on idle. One has returned and blasted the Karma as something consumers shouldn’t consider as state-of-the-art.

Nevertheless, Wanxiang is confident that the Karma will do well in the massive Chinese market. The car is only owned by 1800 individuals and will still be very new to the masses. The Karma will also be an EV that will further be unveiled later this year.
