2015 Citroen DS5 Can Take This Persona! [PICS]

In October next month, the Paris Motor Show will commence and carmakers worldwide are already packing their future vehicles for the massive automotive event. Taking place in Paris, France carmakers are working harder than ever to become the highlight of the event.

Among them is Citroen, which is busy grooming their major concept. Known as the Divine DS, the car will look to arrive with some new styling that is based on the Chevron premium line of vehicles.

The 5-door hatchback has a measurement of 165 inches long and 78 inches wide. This is about the size of the DS4 and the Golf from Volkswagen. The Divine DS will be powered by a 1.6-liter turbo four with 270 horsepower but the focus is more on the design than the specifications.

The Concept rest on 20” wheels that has the same colour as the spindly mirrors and hidden door handles. Unlike most vehicles, the Divine DS does not have a bumper to offer what Citroen described as “spectacular, elegant and enchanting”.

The Divine DS does have a tinge of luxury as it sports sharp creases, bold angles and a faceted roof design that opens to deploy the rear-view camera.

Inside the vehicle, everything is as striking as the exterior. There are three themes to choose from and they are the Mâle (with carbon fiber and red stitching), Parisienne Chic (with ivory leather and pleated silk) and Fatale Punk (with black padded leather and Swarovski crystal-embedded fabric).

Other features include laser turning indicators, holographic head-up display and a 10.4-inch touchscreen monitor. In short, the Divine DS Concept makes a perfect facelift for the Citroen DS5.

Once the Divine DS takes the stage at the Paris Motor Show, it will surely steal away the spotlight from other cars. The Divine DS looks so good but will it perform well? This will soon be answered on the highly anticipated event next month.
