2015 Chevy ZZ6 Is The New Small Block With Big Ambitions

Chevy is unveiling its latest addition to the Chevy family, which is the 2015 Chevy ZZ6. Chevy is currently working to improve the Small Block performance and make it better by using the engine with Fast Burn aluminium cylinder and an updated valvetrain. Besides that, it will have ZZ6 350-cubic-inch crate engine, with 405 horsepower and 405 pound feet torque.

In addition, Chevy ZZ6 comes with two versions of engine based on what the builder wants. The Base configuration comes with distributor, intake, water pump and several other parts but not carburetor and accessories. The Turn Key option, on the other hand, includes everything – air cleaner, carb, alternator, starter and others.

Chevy ZZ6 also uses an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft with .475/.510-inch lift and 208/221-degrees duration. This helps with the engine-rpm airflow capability without jeopardizing the low-speed quality.

Thus, it may be small, but it can do so much more. The new Chevy ZZ6 is created based on the Chevy 350 engine from Chevrolet Performance. After so long, Chevy’s powertrain engineers continue to keep up with the advancement of the technology and be among the top ones.
