2015 Chevrolet Camaro: The End of An Era

With the end of the 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro drawing in to a close, the 2016 Camaro will begin production at General Motor’s Lansing Grand River facility and will be reaching dealerships around the country.

The last 2015 Chevy Camaro marks the end of three different eras, where every Camaro has been built in Canada throughout the course of the said eras. Every 5th generation Camaro was built in the Oshawa plant in Quebec, Canada and the final Camaro ever built was a ZL1 coupe in bright red (similar to the picture above). The 2016 Camaro models would all be made in the USA instead, at the same Lansing Grand River Facility where most Cadillac models are built.

So where will the last 5th generation Camaro go to, you may ask? Accordingly, since it’s such a historically significant model, it’s going to be shipped to the GM Heritage Centre in Warren, Michigan, where it will be standing alongside some of the most notable cars in GM history. Talk about loneliness, it sure is going to be lonely in the centre though it will receive an abundant of appreciation from car enthhusiasts.
