2015 Audi Q5 Review: Due To Poor Handling, The X3 Remains In The Top Spot

Whether the Audi Q5 is released as the UK’s first of the four wheel drive Ultra models or as the clean diesel, the vehicle’s quiet and clean engine will suit it perfectly. After some adjustments to the handling it is now up in the ranks together with the BMW X3, but it is still ablt to gain more interest from last year in production as a new version is due for release in 2016.

The Audi Q5 runs on a 2.0 litre diesel engine and is expected to be launched in the UK around halfway through 2015. Audi have tidied up the coupe and the saloon and included low C02 Ultra models, however the Q range hasn’t completely been forgotten as Audi have given the Audi Q5 a new 2.0 litre engine to power it.

Tthis engine is the one used for the A6 Ultra and has more power to offer than the 2.0 diesel and is more economical and less noisy. We have been told that the vehicle may be the first wheel drive car to come with the Ultra badge, however Audi have not yet made a decision whether to give it the Clean diesel name.

The vehicle will include a 7 speed dual clutch S Tronic gearbox and when the car is travelling at a good speed, fuel economy and emissions are increased to 49.5mpg. When you take a look at everything put together, you paint a rather great picture. Adjustments have been made to the steering and together with a push for improvements of figures, the A5 is pushed towards the front of the leaderboard, overtaking rivals. However it is still the X3 that takes the winning spot.
