2014 Nissan GT-R Review: A Little Bit Of This & A Little Bit Of That

We have continuously praised the Nissan GT-R for being the best sports car money can ever buy. It is so affordable for what is being offered, while also being more powerful than most heavyweights in the marker.

Just recently, Nissan did offered a new breed of GT-R but they appears to be nothing more than a slightly tweak version of its 2013 model. The supercar still runs on a 3.8-litre bi-turbo V6, but tweaked for increased responsiveness in the mid and upper rev ranges. Also, the body is slightly more rigid than before, and the suspension has been adjusted for a better ride and more stability at high speed.

Other improvements include new pressure release valve for the turbos and revised spring and damper rates. The dashboard has also got a new design, together with the instrument panel.

With the update, the new Nissan GT-R is now safer to drive and easier to control in the city. Of course, this is not to say it is slower. The supercar has a faster acceleration than its predecessors. Previously, 0-100km/h eats up 2.8 seconds. Now, the GT-R can do it in 2.7 seconds.

Those who are planning to get the GT-R are advised to hold their horses as this latest model could simply be Nissan’s experiment. The Japanese carmaker is being tipped to give the GT-R a revolution in the near future and it is best to wait for more words on the subject.
