2014 Jeep Wrangler Review: An Off-Road Champ That Can’t Handle Roads

For the umpteenth time now, Jeep has released a new Wrangler but this time, the 4×4 comes with a newer 6-cylinder V6 petrol engine. Then again, the same was said for all the previous Wranglers that have walked on Earth.

The new Jeep Wrangler arrived with a slightly different design on its exterior and interior. Also, the newer engine will bless the vehicle with a much better performance than before.

In detail, the new Pentastar V6 engine adds in another 63kW and 32Nm from the previous Wrangler. Also, consumers can also choose to get the 2.8L turbo-diesel that produces 460Nm and recorded fuel mileage at 7.1L/100km.

Furthermore, the new V6 engine is so finely tuned that it the 0-100km/h sprint has improved by 27.7%. Drivers can also choose from the 6-speed manual or the 5-speed automatic. Then again, driving on a normal road can be a drag with the Wrangler.

Off the road, the Wrangler is like a mix-breed between a cheetah and a rhinoceros. It is as fast as the former and as strong as the latter. The long-suspension, high ground clearance and thick underbody protection ensures that the Wrangler is the way to go when on tough terrains.

All in all, the Jeep Wrangler is every person’s dream come true. Of course, that is if he/she is the adventurous sort and prefers to go off road. The Jeep Wrangler can be owned for just $32,000.
