Two years ago, Google gave the world the Nexus 10 and it was the best tablet back in its days. When the Nexus 7 got released last year, there have been a lot of buzz on the Nexus 10 2 to be arriving on that same year as well. However, it failed to materialize.
New rumours then took the world by storm earlier this year. Word has it that the Nexus 10 2 had some confusions with the developer. It was first thought to be Samsung but the rumour pointed out that HTC is taking charge of the project.
On the other hand, analysts pointed out that if HTC were to take the helm for the Nexus tablets, it will be for the future Nexus 8. However, these analysts never denied that HTC could also make the Nexus 10 2.
Nevertheless, the stance on the Nexus 8 being announced during Google I/O in June is strong. If this is true, then the Nexus 10 2 will not come anytime soon. After all, the old Nexus 10 has just got updated to the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
On another note, there is still that holiday season happening at the end of the year. Such a period could just be the window for the Nexus 10 2 to leap into.
